Appointments and Fees
Medicare
Medicare rebates are available for individuals who have been referred with a Mental Health Care Plan by a General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Scheme you may be eligible for up to 10 treatment sessions per calendar year.
Sessions
Appointments are typically 50 minutes in duration. At your initial consultation your counsellor will work with you to identify your goals and expectations of treatment along with the formulation of a treatment plan. It would be highly recommended that on your initial consultation that you attend 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out contact information and read and sign confidentiality and consent documentation.
Payment
For your convenience, we accept cash, cheque or EFTPOS at the time of your appointment. Dependant on your private health insurance and level of cover you may be eligible to receive an on the spot rebate.
Late Cancellations and Non Attendance
The OnBundock team prides itself on the care and concern that we give to our clients. Whilst we realise that unexpected events and situations occur, we would appreciate 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. We can then reschedule your appointment to another suitable time. This will further give OnBundock the opportunity to offer the appointment to people on our waiting list.
Confidentiality
Strict confidentiality is adhered to at all times by all members of our team. All personal information gathered by the practitioner during the provision of the psychological service will remain confidential and secure except when:
In addition, our administration team will treat your privacy with all due respect. Your attendance will not be disclosed to anyone other those on your records.
- It is not necessary to be referred to see a psychologist or social worker.
- To make an appointment please feel free to use our online enquiry service and one of our administration team members will contact you and arrange a suitable appointment time.
- Alternatively you may contact OnBundock via telephone and speak to one of our administration team members who will organise a convenient appointment time with you.

- It is subpoenaed by a court, or
- Failure to disclose the information would place you or another person at risk, or
- Your prior approval has been obtained to;
- Provide a written report to another professional or agency e.g., GP, Lawyer, or
- Discuss the material with another person e.g., parent, employer
